Welcome to Storyhouse Literary. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any content, forms, resources, or services made available through it.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
About Storyhouse
Storyhouse Literary is a literary studio that partners with thought leaders, visionaries, and storytellers to develop culturally resonant books, strengthen their platforms, and pursue publishing opportunities.
Storyhouse is not a literary agency, publisher, law firm, financial advisor, or talent agency. Using this website, submitting an application, or communicating with us does not create a client, agency, fiduciary, or professional relationship. A client relationship is established only through a separate written agreement signed by both parties.
Our Services
Information about Storyhouse’s services is provided for general informational purposes. Specific services, deliverables, timelines, fees, payment terms, cancellation policies, and intellectual-property rights will be governed by the applicable proposal or client agreement.
If these Terms conflict with a signed client agreement, the client agreement will control.
We may modify, pause, or discontinue any website feature, offering, or service at any time.
No Guarantee of Results
Storyhouse does not guarantee literary representation, a publishing offer, a particular advance, sales results, media coverage, audience growth, bestseller status, or any other specific outcome.
Publishing and platform results depend on many factors outside our control, including the quality and marketability of the work, author participation, market conditions, publisher decisions, audience response, and timing.
Case studies, testimonials, client accomplishments, and past results represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as promises of future results.
Applications and Submitted Materials
You retain ownership of manuscripts, proposals, concepts, applications, and other original materials you submit to Storyhouse.
By submitting materials, you give us permission to access, review, store, and internally share them with members of our team or professional advisors for the purpose of evaluating your inquiry, responding to you, or determining whether we may be a good fit to work together.
You represent that:
- You own or have permission to submit the materials;
- The materials do not knowingly infringe another person’s rights; and
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Submitting materials does not obligate Storyhouse to review them, provide feedback, offer services, make introductions, or enter into a working relationship.
Unless we have entered into a written confidentiality or client agreement, information submitted through the website should not be considered confidential. Please do not submit highly sensitive, proprietary, or time-sensitive information through a general website form.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its contents—including text, frameworks, methods, graphics, branding, photographs, videos, downloads, and design—are owned by or licensed to Storyhouse and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access and use this material for your personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, teach from, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written permission.
“Storyhouse Literary,” Storyhouse branding, and associated names and marks may not be used without our written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of a client’s original work to Storyhouse. Ownership and permitted use of materials created during a client engagement will be governed by the applicable client agreement.

You agree not to:
- Use the website for an unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- Interfere with the website’s operation or security;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or information;
- Upload malicious code or use automated tools to scrape or reproduce website content;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- Infringe Storyhouse’s or another party’s intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
- Use our materials to develop, market, or deliver a substantially similar commercial service without permission.
